Reviving a Traditional Handicraft

The Ceramic Laboratory in the small Palestinian village of Nisf Jubeil is part of the Mosaic Centre Jericho network. It is located in a beautifully restored traditional building, just at the edge of the village in a green and hilly countryside and only few meters away from Mosaic Guest House Nisf Jubeil and Nisf Jubeil Kitchen.

The laboratory aims at reviving the traditional pottery and ceramic handicraft in Palestine through training and education.

If you would like to meet with the local artists, please let our staff know and they will be happy to arrange the visit for you.

Ceramic Painting Course

At the ceramic laboratory we also offer courses for our visitors! If you are interested to learn about and actually try the art of ceramic painting, don’t hesitate to schedule an individual painting class with us. Our courses usually are full-day courses, lasting 6-8 hours and can be arranged any time suiting your schedule.

We offer classes for individuals from one person as well as for groups. Please feel free to inquire for details and an individual offer.
